Here's a tasty recipe for Keto Shrimp Snacks:

Recipe: Keto Parmesan Crusted Shrimp

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 cup almond flour

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 eggs, beaten

  • Cooking oil for frying (such as avocado oil or coconut oil)

Instructions:

  1. In a shallow bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, almond flour, garlic powder, paprika, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  2. Dip each shrimp into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off, and then coat it in the Parmesan mixture. Press gently to ensure the coating sticks well.

  3. Place the coated shrimp on a plate or baking sheet and repeat the process with the remaining shrimp.

  4. Heat cooking oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Make sure there's enough oil to cover the bottom of the pan.

  5. Once the oil is hot, add the coated shrimp in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes per side, until they turn golden brown and crispy. Cook in batches if necessary.

  6. Once cooked, transfer the shrimp to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

  7. Serve the Keto Parmesan Crusted Shrimp as a delicious appetizer or snack. They can be enjoyed on their own or paired with a keto-friendly dipping sauce like sugar-free marinara or garlic aioli.

These Parmesan-crusted shrimp are not only keto-friendly but also packed with flavor and make for a satisfying snack. Feel free to adjust the seasonings or add a pinch of cayenne pepper for some heat if desired. Enjoy!
